Hardcover Wizard of Oz. 1st title published by Bobbs Merrill and remaining books are published by Reilly & Lee. Wizard of Oz edition contains 8 color plates. Dorothy and the Wizard in Oz contains 16 color plates. Road to Oz never had color plates and remaining books contains all required color plates and color illustrations. These books constitute Oz series written by Frank Baum. Books are in various condition, but photos speak for themselves. Few books might have previous owner name in the book belong section and they are at least 75 years old. Color plates were discontinued after 1935 to reduce cost of printing. These whole set in Very Good condition and none of these books are falling a part in your hands. I took a photo of cover, hinges and title page with color plates of each book and also some example of other issues that needs to be mentioned or collectors. Out of all 14 books only two books need some explanations. Glinda of Oz has coloring by previous child that seen in the photo. Also Glinda of Oz is a First edition and first state copy. Another title Emerald City has some minor wear marks that is visible on some color plates at the top left corner. ( see photos of this markings.) Details of each titles and condition: 1. Shipping cost is free and included in the price. Items worth over $100 will be shipped via USPS Priority mail with applicable insurance, other books will be mail using media mail where applicable. Multiple of books where total price is over $100 and the average price per book is under $50 will also be mailed using media mail service with insurance to reduce cost. Tracking number can be tracked on the paypal transaction or upon request.
