Most of L. Frank Baum's first edition/first state books related to the Oz series are worth hundreds, and even thousands of dollars. For example, the Army Alphabet in very good condition is selling for over $2000;
Mother Goose in Prose sold for $4000; Father Goose (with only 5700 first edition published) was also sold for $4000.
Some other Oz-related series books that were printed after 1910, such as Sea Fairies (1912) and Sky Island (1912) sold for about $500. While these books are certainly valuable and bring a lot of reading pleasure, the serious collectors first collect other Baum books before beginning to collect the Oz series collections.
